Biography

Allison Schuette is a speech-language pathologist who joined RMUoHP in January 2020 as a Clinical Educator in the M.S. SLP program. She earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Allison has clinical experience working with individuals from infancy to geriatrics in a variety of settings, including, early intervention, public schools, home health, and skilled nursing facilities. Her clinical focus has included assessing and treating children with autism and other complex communication disorders. She is a member of the Utah Assistive Technology Team and has developed advanced clinical skills in augmentative and alternative communication and assistive technology in the school setting.

Clinical Expertise
Allison’s clinical expertise includes assessment and treatment of children with autism and other complex communication disorders. She also focuses on alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT).
